Kimberly Ronquillo has been teaching dance, choreographing and coaching dance teams for over 11 years. She began her passion in dance since she was able to walk. To performing “dance routines” with family members to growing up and joining dance classes in high school at the Permian High School dance program in 2013. There, she became a member of the Panther Paw Dance Team her junior and senior year. She graduated in 2015 and began choreographing Quinceanera and Wedding dances on the side as she was in college for her Business Degree. While choreographing a quinceanera dance, She met Margaret Edmonds and soon became a teacher for Dance Connection where Margaret was the owner. She quickly grew a love and passion for teaching and loved seeing the progress her students were making over the years.
In 2018, Margaret Edmonds announced her retirement and Kimberly Ronquillo took over ownership of Dance Connection. Since then, She has implemented a performance team which has helped Dance Connection to only increase in its success. Through Dance Connection, Kimberly hopes to train amazing dancers, providing them with instruction of proper technique, opportunities to learn the many style of dance so that they will be well-rounded dancers, to love the gift of dance and show it to the audience every time they perform, to learn the importance of team and working well with others and to understand the value of working hard each and every day to accomplish their dreams.
